To renovate the master bathroom of a house in Islington, London.
The soft seating in the bathroom created a relaxed Spa-like environment. The double basin was positioned on a wall-hung vanity unit to maximise the view of the floor space and give the illusion of a larger room. The different tile formats were used to subtly define the areas of the bathroom. Concealed shower valves in a gloss chrome finish complement the modern feel. The hidden WC area uses its own wallpaper creating a room within a room.

Soft furnishings in the bathroom were used to add colour, pattern & texture. The selection of heritage colours enhanced the classic style of the house. A modern interpretation of a freestanding bathtub & floor standing tap once again reflect on the Victorian character of the house. Wallpaper was used instead of tiles to let the room breathe, incorporating the pattern used on the roman blind.
